CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION SERVICES

During the construction of commercial projects, Allan F. Dietel, performs the following duties:

1. Attend construction meetings at the site. Prepare meeting minutes or review and comment on the minutes of the meeting prepared by the contractor.

2. Periodically observe and report on the progress of the construction.

3. Review shop drawings. The Architect will log all shop drawings into a computerized database, distribute drawings that are required to be reviewed by the consultants, indicate the appropriate action to be taken by the Contractor, and return the shop drawing to the contractor.

4. Review and evaluate the results of field tests.

5. Respond to all questions from the contractor. All Requests for Information (RFI’s) will be logged into a computerized database and the responses will be returned to the contractor in an expeditious manner.

6. Prepare and distribute bulletins, if required, to update the construction documents in accordance with previously issued RFI’s.

7. Prepare a color schedule for issuance to the contractor.

8. Review all change order requests.

9. Prepare punch lists.

10. Review the contractor’s as-built records and transcribe the as-built information onto the original construction drawings.

11. Assist the client in obtaining temporary and permanent Certificates of Occupancy.
